About Sarvajan Unnati Bodhini

Sarvajan Unnati Bodhini (SUB) is a Charitable Trust based in New Delhi, India that has been working towards advancing the development of microinsurance since 2007. We aim to diminish financial vulnerabilities in underprivileged communities through innovative methodologies and thus, empower and enable them. To accomplish our goals, we have created an inclusive network that provides expertise to a wide range of stakeholders including development agencies and local partners on improving the efficiency of existing systems, establishing new insurance schemes, supportive supervision, and regulatory policies to encourage growth.

We work with underprivileged communities to provide a range of contraceptive choices and Sexual and Reproductive Health services to empower them to exercise their sexual and reproductive rights and choices. Through public-private partnerships with the state government of Rajasthan, we work towards improvement in accessibility and availability of quality family planning services in the state.

We are providing services through the Clinical Outreach Teams (COT) and Mini-Clinical Outreach Teams. The COT comprises a fully staffed and well-equipped mobile team that provides a range of high-quality family planning services at public sector sites. COTs are accredited by the district health authorities under the National Health Mission’s Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Mini-Clinical Outreach Team comprises a three-member team that provides sustainable access to family planning information and services in health sub-centres. The sub-centers are identified in consultation with the district authorities. On predetermined days, the Mini-COT travels from the district headquarters to the sub-center.
